The British comedian appeared on Friday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and addressed the recent speculation that his one-year marriage is on the outs.

When told of the online buzz that the couple had split, Brand jokingly replied, "What?! She should have told me!"

The 36-year-old funnyman placed blame on "Internet technology" for the easy spread of rumors, saying, "I’ve treated the whole Internet now as a wicked little liar."

“I am really happily married,” he insisted.
