About Me and Pantano's Law:
I am a lawyer. I have been practicing for 12 years and in solo practice for the past 8 years. I know how difficult it is for solos and others without large budgets to advertise and get themselves found by prospective clients. Out of necessity (because I had no money for other forms of advertising) I taught myself how to build websites. Finally I began earning decent money.
Now I would like to provide some low-cost internet advertising options for other lawyers who are in the same position I was. I have not decided upon a pricing structure yet, but I promise it will be inexpensive. I remember trying to decide whether to list myself on FindLaw, Lawyers.com and others. I fretted over the decisions. The contracts were so expensive that if the advertising did not pay off, I would be in deep trouble. I promise, that will not be the case with this website. It will be inexpensive enough that, even if it doesn't result in a single client, it will not come close to breaking anyone financially. I want to price this cheaply enough that you'd be crazy NOT to list your practice here. I want you to more than make all your money back with just one client!
My advice is that advertising on this website should be one part of a broad-based internet advertising strategy. More and more people find lawyers on the internet, and there is not one single website that every prospective client uses. So, my advice is to get yourself listed in several places. I would like to provide my fellow lawyers with at least one such website on which to list themselves inexpensively.
